The  Learning to Use Public Transit Program helps seniors to understand and use public transit.

It offers training sessions and a toolkit to help you plan your bus trips efficiently.

Group sessions are offered by the Académie des retraités de l'Outaouais (ARO) located at the Cabane en bois rond in the Hull sector. Check the ARO program or call 819 776-5052 to find out the dates for the next sessions.

The pamphlet for the Learning to Use Public Transit Program (available in french only) explains how to take the bus.

  • How to get to the bus stop
  • How to recognize the correct bus
  • How to board
  • How to pay
  • How to get off the bus

             The first step is easy!

Use the trip planning sheet (available in French only) to write down the information for your trip (departure and arrival, bus route to take, transfers, etc.). It is also a reminder of the trip details to and from your destination.
