We will move some bus stops in Hull and Gatineau, monday january 20.

Hull Sector

- Bus stop #2138 on St-Joseph boulevard southbound after the intersection with Meunier street.

New location : on St-Joseph boulevard southbound, 70 meters afeter intersection with Meunier street (in front of 737 St-Joseph boulevard).

Reason : this change is necessary for the installation of a bus shelter.

Lines concerned : 17, 36, 37, 38, 334, 566, 597 and 937

- Bus stop #2360 on Daniel-Johnson street in Jumonville direction, before the intersection with Radisson street, will be remove and relocate to be bus stop #2359.

New location : bus stop #2359 will be on Daniel-Johnson street in Jumonville direction, between Mont-bleu boulevard and Lucient-Brault street.

Reason : this change is necessary for the installation of a new bus shelter that will not be locate on a stop sign. There were very few suitable locations near stop # 2360 due to the lack of place and paving.

Lines concerned : 17, 36, 37, 371, 932 and 937

- Bus stop #2094 on St-Joseph boulevard southbound, north of Amherst street, will be relocate and the bus stops #2086 will be remove.

New location : bus stop #2094 will be on St-Joseph boulevard southbound just after the intersection of Amherst street.

Reason : the relocation was already planned as part of the Saint-Joseph boulevard reconstruction project, but we decided to pre-empt it in order to facilitate the installation of a solar variable message panel (solar VMS).

Lines concerned : 36, 37, 371, 38 and 937

- Bus stop #2080 on St-Joseph boulevard northbound, between Saint-Jean-Bosco et de Lorimier streets.

New location : on St-Joseph boulevard northbound, before Saint-Jean-Bosco street (in front of Yvon-A.-Grégoire community center).

Reason : the relocation was already planned as part of the Saint-Joseph boulevard reconstruction project, but we decided to pre-empt it in order to facilitate the installation of a solar VMS. Thhis change also makes it possible to regularize the distance between this bus stop and the next bus stop.

Lines concerned : 36, 37, 371, 829, 837 and 937

- Bus stop #2607 on Eddy street northbound after the intersection with Promenade du Portage (in front of 22 Eddy street).

New location : on Eddy street northbound just before the intersection with Wellington street (near Second Cup).

Reason : the relocation of the bus stop will provide protection from the elements following the removal of the large bus shelter at the intersection of Wellington and Saint-Rédempteur.

Gatineau Sector

- Bus stop #3588 on de la Cité boulevard southbound just after Maloney boulevard.

New location : on de la Cité boulevard southbound just before Lamarche street.

Reason : this change will take place following a request from the city to bring the stop for the new pedestrian crossing closer to the intersection of de la Cité/Larmarche.
