On April 6, service was reduced due to the significant drop in demand related to COVID-19, and several routes were temporarily discontinued. With the start of summer schedules on June 15, some—but not all—of these have been reintegrated.

Starting on August 24, routes 23, 41 and 56 will be resuming.

Here are all the bus routes that will be in service: 11, 15, 17, 18, 20, 23, 26, 27, 28, 31, 33, 34, 35, 37, 371, 38, 39, 40, 41, 45, 47, 48, 49, 50, 52, 55, 56, 58, 59, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 71, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 85, 87, 93, 95, 97, 400 and 800.

Please note that routes 22, 24, 25, 29, 54, 88, 94, 98, 100 and 200 are NOT offered this fall.

Given the decreased demand and the budget issues related to COVID-19, some service enhancements will have to be postponed and will not be implemented in the fall of 2020. 

Aylmer sector

• Regular service - Routes 55 and 59

Du Plateau district 

• Regular service - Route 39
• Peak service - Routes 23, 25 and 26

Gatineau sector

• Regular service - Routes 62, 65, and 76

Routes 55 and 59 - Accessible service

• Routes 55 and 59 will be offering a guaranteed accessible service at all times. A service is guaranteed accessible when all trips are provided by buses with an access ramp and most of the bus stops are accessible.

Service changes in the Hôpital de Gatineau neighbourhood

The expansion of Hôpital de Gatineau and the addition of a faculty of medicine and a university family healthy group will mean more traffic in and around this zone.
Thus, changes will be introduced starting this fall to improve service to the hospital and the other nearby health services.

These changes take into account the comments received from customers through the online public consultation from February 10 to March 1, 2020.

Those changes affect routes 62, 65 and 76, and are intended to: 

• improve service to Hôpital de Gatineau and the other nearby health services;
• improve the service by adding trips to routes 62 and 76;
• offer bus service along arteries that currently have none;
• create a new link to the De la Cité station; and
• facilitate access to the Gréber industrial park and other nearby businesses.

• A new link to De la Cité station through montée Paiement instead of Davidson and Nobert (served by route 71).
• A new route along St-René and Ernest-Gaboury, Nelligan, D'Orléans, Gréber, Du Barry, Pierre-Lafontaine and Sillery, and De la Gappe (previously served by route 65).
• Three more trips in the direction of the De la Cité station in the morning, and three more trips in the direction of the De la Gappe station in the afternoon to increase frequency to every 30 minutes instead of every 60 minutes.

• A more direct route from the De la Gappe station to Hôpital de Gatineau via De la Gappe and Gréber instead of Nelligan, D'Orléans, Du Barry, Pierre-Lafontaine and De Sillery, which will instead be served by route 62.
• A more direct route from the De la Cité station to Hôpital de Gatineau via De l'Hôpital, and service within the site. De l'Oasis will be served by route 76.
  Note: There will be no change to route 85.

• Buses will run along De l'Oasis instead of De la Vérendrye.
• Direct access to the entrance to the hospital from De la Cité station.
• Two more trips in the direction of the De la Cité station in the morning and two more in the direction of Labrosse in the afternoon to increase frequency from every 30 minutes to every 20 minutes.
