Lost items on STO vehicles
It can take approximately 48 hours from the time that an item is found on a bus until it reaches Customer Relations.
To claim a lost item:
For seasonal items (gloves, mittens, hats scarves, umbrellas, etc.) please stop by our offices at 111 Jean-Proulx to check whether your item has been found. “Self-help” bins are set up at the entrance of the Point of Service. Given the sheer volume of items lost and found, no information is provided over the phone. Items are kept for 21 days, and are then handed over to a charitable organization.
For all other items, please contact Client Relations at 819-770-3242 after 11 a.m. If your item was found, you will be given a claim number which you will be required to provide when claiming your item. If it was not found that day, you can contact us again later. Items are kept for approximately two months, and are then handed over to a charitable organization.
Given the large number of lunch boxes found on buses and not claimed, we have to discard their contents. This is a matter of hygiene and cleanliness. Thank you for your understanding!
