Starting June 15, 2015 Transcollines Takes the Wheel from the STO
Through Transcollines, the municipalities of Cantley, Chelsea, Val-des-Monts and La Pêche have formed a new transit corporation to provide service in their area.
Consequently, starting June 15, 2015, a new public transit service will replace the regular bus service and paratransit service offered to date by the Société de transport de l'Outaouais (STO) in Cantley and Chelsea.
Bus stops and specific transfer points identified in the Gatineau area will allow Transcollines riders to transfer to the STO system.

Changes related to the new Transcollines service
With the launch of Transcollines, the STO will be making a few changes to its bus system that will take effect on June 15, 2015.
Riders living in the Gatineau area who use the STO routes that served Chelsea and Cantley will be able to continue to use these services.

Transcollines fare payments
Special fares will allow riders in MRC des Collines-de-l'Outaouais to travel on STO and OC Transpo buses. Riders will also be able to get all Transcollines passes from the STO. Passes will be sold starting June 15 for the month of the July.
Information for STO Fidélité and Employer Program members
STO Fidélité Program members
Riders wishing to end their Fidélité Program membership for July should send the duly completed cancellation form to the STO no later than June 15, 2015, along with their Multi smart card within 30 days of their cancellation request. The cancellation will be approved without penalty for residents in MRC des Collines-de-l'Outaouais. See Cancelling your enrolment for all the details.
STO Employer Program members
Riders wishing to end their Employer Program membership for July should contact their employer directly, who will be able to tell them the deadline for cancelling the pass for July.
Paratransit service
Within the next few weeks, current STO paratransit riders in Cantley and Chelsea will be contacted directly by Transcollines to ensure a smooth transition of service.
