Recruitment of a client for the Technical committee for universal accessibility
The Société de transport de l'Outaouais (STO) would like to fill a position on its technical committee for universal accessibility. The committee's mandate is to address universal accessibility in regard to regular and paratransit services.
In addition to the members of the board of directors and administration officials, this committee comprises three users of the regular or paratransit services.
Requirements and profile sought
- Reside within the territory served by the STO.
- Use the STO's regular public transit service.
- Be a member of a group subject to accessibility issues, i.e. a person living with a functional limitation, a senior, a parent travelling with small children, with or without a stroller, etc.
- Have leadership skills.
- Have the ability to work with others.
- Be in contact with other people facing obstacles in the use of public transit to share that information with the committee.
- Be bilingual.
