Community Commitment

The Société de transport de l’Outaouais (STO) and its employees regularly get involved in various fundraising campaigns for regional community organizations such as Centraide Outaouais and the Fondation du Centre de santé et de services sociaux de Gatineau.

Employees are also invited to take part in the Grande guignolée des médias, Operation Red Nose in the Outaouais and in distributing the Mayor’s Christmas baskets. Concerned about the well-being of the community that it serves, the STO supports various causes that reflect its social values.

The STO is also present in the community through its contribution to the municipal emergency response plan, with the Red Cross, or by taking in trainees in various departments in the corporation every year.
