Personalized Multi card

A photo smart card that you can reload and reuse.

  • For frequent and occasional public transit use.
  • It can contain a pass and an e-wallet:
    • For frequent use, opt for an annual, monthly or semester pass.
    • For occasional use, opt for an e-wallet.
      • reduced fares, depending on your status; and
      • transfers for up to two (2) hours after the initial validation.
  • Only you can use it. It shows your name, your rider status and your photo.
    • Fraudulent use of your card may lead to its confiscation.
  • Load :
  • More economical than paying with a ticket or cash.
  • Valid on OC Transpo and for transfers to the O-Train.

Non-personalized Multi card

A smart card that you can reload, reuse and transfer.

E-wallet

  • For occasional public transit use.
  • It can only contain an e-wallet.
  • Because it is non-personalized (no photo), it can be shared, but cannot be used by more than one person on any given trip.
  • Load :
  • More economical than paying with a ticket or cash.
  • Adult fare only.
  • Valid on OC Transpo. Initial validation must be on an STO bus;
  • Allows transfers for up to two (2) hours after the initial validation.

One-day, three-day and seven-day passes

A smart card that you can reload, reuse and transfer.

  • For occasional public transit use.
  • Unlimited use for a given period:
    • One-day pass: 24 consecutive hours following initial validation.
    • Three-day pass: 72 consecutive hours following initial validation.
    • Seven-day pass: 168 consecutive hours following initial validation.
  • Because it is non-personalized (no photo), it can be shared, but cannot be used by more than one person on any given trip.
  • Load :
  • More economical than paying with a ticket or cash.
  • Valid on OC Transpo and for transfers to the O-Train. Initial validation must be on an STO bus.

Cash payment

$4.50 per trip

    • For random trips.
    • Exact fare required.
    • Bank notes are not accepted.
    • Do you need to take more than one bus?

    STO advice

    The E-wallet is more economical and more practical than the ticket and the cash payment.
    • Load money on your Multi card;
    • Pay without contact in the form of electronic passage;
    • Save $0.80 per trip.

    Courtesy Privilege cards

    Attendant Privilege card for visual impairment

    This card entitles attendants accompanying persons with a visual impairment to travel for free. The card must be shown to the driver when boarding the bus. The persons who are being accompanied must pay their own fare according to the applicable fare.

     

    Attendant Privilege card for authorized service animals

    This card entitles service animals to accompany the bearer. It is not required for Mira service dogs.

    The card must be shown to the driver when boarding the bus. Bearers must pay their own fare according to the applicable fare.

     

    Attendant Privilege card for people with reduced mobility

    Courtesy seats at the front of the bus are clearly identified. Those seats are reserved for people with disabilities, seniors, pregnant women and anybody with reduced mobility who does not use a wheelchair.

    If your disability is not visible, get a courtesy Privilege card. When you display it, the passenger using the courtesy seat should yield it to you.

    STO gift card

    Give someone a transit gift.

    STO gift card is not an accepted payment method on the bus. The value of the card must be loaded onto a Multi card. The amount can be transferred to a monthly pass or an e-wallet.


    You can purchse a gift card at any service point.
