September 19 - Ottawa Memorial Parade
Modification of service in downtown Ottawa
Please be advised that the service in downtown Ottawa will be modified on Monday, September 19, due to the Memorial Parade in honor of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
All routes that normally enter Ottawa via the Portage Bridge will enter via the Chaudière Bridge. There will be no drop-offs at the Wellington/Lyon intersection.
All bus exits will be via the Chaudière Bridge.
There will be no impact on buses entering Ottawa via the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge.
The following stops will not be served until 6:30 p.m:
- Wellington/Lyon (#5050)
- Station Lyon (#5112-#5116)
- Kent/Sparks (#5131)
- Bank/Wellington (#5124)
- Bank/Queen (#5108)
Service offered
Towards Ottawa:
Service will be provided on Slater Street only for routes that normally use the Portage Bridge.
Stops on Slater Street:
- Slater/Kent (#5120)
- Slater/O'Connor (#5128)
- Slater/Metcalfe (#5132)
TowardsGatineau:
Service will be provided on Albert Street and at the Mackenzie King Bridge.
Stops on Albert Street:
- Albert/Bank (#5130)
- Albert/Metcalfe (#5134)
Return to the normal service
The return to the normal service is scheduled for 6:30 pm. Please allow extra time for travel. Depending on the evolution of the situation and the traffic congestion on the network, this service scenario could be modified. If this is the case, we will keep you informed of the changes via Network News alerts, the Twitter account @STO_direct and our social networks.
