Labrosse and Lorrain sectors

Route 68

  • Major change: the easternmost terminal for this route will be the Lorrain station instead of boulevard des Affaires;
  • The link between the Labrosse station and boulevard des Affaires will be provided by the modified route 79.

Route 72

  • A new route 72 will serve boulevard St-René between the Labrosse and Lorrain stations;
  • Weekdays, buses will run every 30 minutes during peak periods and every 60 minutes at other times and weekends. The route will run in only one direction.

Route 73

  • Minor change: the circuit will be modified to remain on boulevard St-René to run closer to businesses and the denser residential areas. Service on rue Magnus will be discontinued;
  • In order to make up for the discontinuation of routes 74 and 97 between boulevard Lorrain and boulevard Labrosse, route 73 will add a new loop south of the Labrosse station, via boulevard Labrosse, boulevard Maloney, rue Côtéville, rue Notre-Dame, rue East, rue Notre-Dame and back to boulevard Labrosse;
  • Weekdays, buses will run every 30 minutes in both directions during peak periods and every 60 minutes at other times.

Route 74

  • The service will run during morning peak periods only, with a modified circuit ending at the Lorrain station, complementing route 78.

Route 75

  • Minor change: the easternmost terminal for this route will be the Lorrain station instead of the intersection of boulevard Lorrain and boulevard La Vérendrye;
  • Between the Lorrain station and rue Notre-Dame, buses will run along rue Sainte-Rose, rue des Sables, boulevard Maloney and rue Doré;
  • The link between the Lorrain station and boulevard La Vérendrye on boulevard Lorrain will be along the modified circuits of routes 79 and 97;
  • Weekdays, buses will run every 15 to 20 minutes during peak periods (every 60 minutes in the opposite direction), every 30 minutes at other times during the day, and every 60 minutes nights and weekends.

Route 77

  • Major change: the Lorrain station will be the departure and arrival terminal for this route;
  • The route will provide a one-way link from the Lorrain station via boulevard Lorrain going south, via boulevard Maloney going east, along avenue du Cheval-Blanc, rue du Sous-Bois, montée Dalton, boulevard St-René and back to boulevard Lorrain and to the Lorrain station;
  • In order to make up for the discontinuation of route 88, early morning service will be added to the Lorrain station destination;
  • Buses will run every 30 minutes weekday peak periods and daytimes, and every 60 minutes weekday nights and weekends;
  • The combined service of routes 77 and 78 will allow for greater frequency along certain parts of boulevard Maloney.

Route 78

  • Major change: the Lorrain station will be the departure and arrival terminal for this route;
  • The route will serve boulevard Lorrain, boulevard Maloney, boulevard de l'Aéroport, rue Atmec, boulevard St-René and avenue du Cheval-Blanc, returning to the Lorrain station via boulevard Maloney, rue Mitchell, rue Dumais and back to boulevard Lorrain;
  • In order to make up for the discontinuation of route 88, early morning service will be added to the Lorrain station destination;
  • The adjustment to the route 78 circuit will allow for partial service to the Aéroparc sector via boulevard de l'Aéroport between boulevard Maloney and rue Atmec;
  • Buses will run every 30 minutes weekday peak periods and daytimes, and every 60 minutes weekday nights and weekends;
  • The complementary service provided by routes 77 and 78 will allow for greater frequency along certain portions of boulevard Maloney;
  • Route 74 will provide a complementary service along boulevard Maloney during morning peak periods to maintain a more direct service to the Lorrain station.

Route 79

  • Major change: mornings, the route will provide a link between the Labrosse station and the STO's Centre d'entretien et d'exploitation via boulevard Labrosse and boulevard des Affaires. Then, the circuit will continue to the Saint-Thomas residential sector via boulevard Labrosse, rue Chambord, rue Elzéar, chemin Saint-Thomas, rue de Sainte-Monique, rue Chambord and boulevard Lorrain, and on to the Lorrain station. Afternoons, the route will reverse course;
  • The adjustment to the route 79 circuit will allow for service to the boulevard des Affaires industrial park;
  • Weekdays, buses will run every 30 to 45 minutes during peak periods and some will run at midday.

Route 88

  • This route, which has not been in service since the start of the pandemic, will be officially discontinued. Service will be provided by the modified circuits of routes 75, 77 and 78;
  • To make up for this discontinuation, early morning busses will be added to routes 77 and 78 destination Lorrain station.

Route 97

  • Major change: the circuit will be modified to improve access between the Georges/Route 148 park-and-ride and the Rapibus corridor via the Lorrain station along autoroute 50;
  • Between boulevard de l'Aéroport and boulevard Labrosse, service will be provided by the modified circuits of routes 73, 75, 77 and 78.

Rapibus routes

  • Routes 100 and 200 will not be back this fall because the modifications would have a major impact on driver resources. Route 400 will continue with the same frequency as currently, that is to say every 7 to 8 minutes, between the Labrosse station and the downtowns, with the addition of :
    • overload buses in the morning, and
    • short trips from downtown Hull during afternoon peak periods.
  • A number of route 400 buses will continue to the Lorrain station to provide frequency averaging every 15 minutes mornings. All buses will continue to the Lorrain station during afternoon peak periods and outside morning peak periods and weekends.
