Published : 10-24-2013

Yesterday during the afternoon rush hour

  • 12 trips added on route 200. This made it possible to clear the volume of riders waiting at the last stops in Ottawa faster.
  • 1 trip added on route 95. Other adjustments may be made to routes 93 and 95, depending on future observations.
  • Discussions are in progress with the authorities concerned for improving the fluidity of buses upstream from the busy stops on Wellington in Ottawa.

Today during the morning rush hour

  • 2 trips added on route 200 at De la Cité station.
  • 2 trips added on route 200 at De la Gappe station.
  • 1 trip added at 7:18 on route 68 at Labrosse station.
  • Fluidity in the Rapibus corridor has improved significantly. However, more adjustments will be made for specific periods.

Park-and-ride

  • The Cheval Blanc and Lorrain park-and-ride facilities still have parking spaces. Note that the lighting is now working at the Cheval Blanc Park-and-Ride located at the intersection of Saint-René.
  • Marking and signs have been added at De la Gappe station to direct riders better.
  • We are looking at the possibility of increasing the number of parking spaces available near the Rapibus stations in the Gatineau sector.

Traffic lights

  • Work to optimize the traffic lights in the Rapibus corridor is continuing.

Neighbourhood routes

  • An analysis is currently under way to improve the performance of neighbourhood buses.
