The New Multi Supports Centraide Outaouais

The Société de transport de l’Outaouais (STO)  took advantage of its regular Board of Directors meeting to express its support for the  Centraide Outaouais fundraising campaign. This year, the STO is innovating by inviting riders to get the new Multi smart card to benefit this major fundraising campaign.

Riders who exchange their Passe-partout Plus for a Multi will be supporting the cause as the STO will donate $2 to Centraide Outaouais for every new smart card that is issued between October 5 and 31, 2012.

“For many years, the STO has been organizing different activities among its employees for its Centraide campaign. This year, we are adding a new approach by donating $2 for every new smart card that is put into circulation, for an estimated amount of $5,000,” stated STO Chairman Patrice Martin. “Centraide Outaouais can count on the STO’s support, because getting involved in the community is a solidly entrenched value in the corporation,” he added.

As a corporate citizen dedicated to its community, the STO has set a target goal of $23,000 thanks to the generosity of its riders and employees.
