Go to Winterlude with the STO
Published : 01-30-2013
The Société de transport de l’Outaouais (STO) is pleased to provide a shuttle service to make travel easier between sites during Winterlude, taking place from February 1 to 18, in Gatineau and Ottawa.
The Sno-Bus will run from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays between February 2 and 17. Shuttles will provide ongoing service from the Robert Guertin Centre Park-and-Ride to Jacques Cartier Park and then on to the Confederation park on Laurier, in Ottawa. The transfer point with OC Transpo to Dow’s Lake will be at this location.
The STO would like to remind everyone of the free parking at the Robert Guertin Centre Park-and-Ride so motorists can avoid having to look for parking during Winterlude activities. Just leave your vehicle at the Park-and-Ride and board the STO's Sno-Bus.
The STO’s Sno-Bus will be accessible for people with reduced mobility thanks to the use of articulated buses equipped with an access ramp on all trips.
To get to the Snowflake Kingdom at Jacques Cartier Park or at the Confederation Park, riders can also take some of the STO’s regular bus routes. Remember that the Family fare is available every weekend during Winterlude. To get an itinerary or view a timetable for the regular bus routes, check the Plani-Bus on the STO’s Web site at sto.ca.
For more information on Sno-Bus, visit the STO’s Web site or contact Information service at 819 770-3242. Note that weather conditions may affect service.
