La Société de transport de l’Outaouais (STO) invites festival-goers to take advantage of the free Desjardins shuttle services to the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival that will be taking place from September 2 to 5.

Desjardins shuttle service in all city sectors

The bus service will run between the various sectors of Gatineau to the festival site at La Baie Park. An ongoing shuttle service will leave from the Promenades terminus in the Gatineau sector.

For residents in the Hull sector, there will be bus service every 30 minutes from the bus stop in front of the Village Place-Cartier, the Robert-Guertin Arena Park-and-Ride and the Canadian Museum of Civilization (paid parking).

In the Aylmer sector and Plateau de la Capitale neighbourhood, riders will be able to board the hourly shuttles at the Galeries Aylmer Park-and-Ride, Rivermead Park-and-Ride and near the Loblaws grocery store (stop on Plateau).

Residents in the Buckingham and Masson-Angers sectors will be able to use route 96 from the Robert-Rochon sports centre (formerly the Masson Arena) to the Promenades, where they can then board the free shuttle to the festival site. Festival-goers coming from Ottawa will be able to use the regular bus system and take routes 67 and 77 to the site at La Baie Park. Regular fares will apply.
