Come See the World…With the STO

Published : 02-06-2014

True to its tradition, the Société de transport de l'Outaouais (STO) is once again offering its "2 for 1" book fair special for all visitors to the Salon du livre de l'Outaouais that will be taking place from February 27 to March 2, 2014, at the Palais des congrès de Gatineau.

All riders who show their valid Multi card when purchasing a ticket to the book fair will be able to take advantage of the "2 for 1" promotion on the admission price. Furthermore, those who have the four-day wrist pass for the fair will be able to ride for free throughout the regular system and the STO's paratransit service during the entire event.

The STO's Director of Communications and Marketing is taking this opportunity to remind everyone that since January 21, public transit riders have been able to download, for free, the first chapter of books written by the guests of honour at the 35th edition of the Salon du livre de l'Outaouais. "E-books will be offered year-round on the STO's system, which will certainly please public transit riders who are avid readers. This is a special opportunity to read and discover authors and their works," stated Renée Lafrenière, Communications and Marketing Director at the STO.

In addition, riders who purchase a one-day ticket or a four-day bracelet will get an entry form for a chance to win an e-reader, a selection of books and a gift set worth $350.
