Loading a Multi card

There are three (3) ways to load your Multi card

  1. Online, 48 hours before your next trip
  2. At a point of sale
  3. At a service point

    Loading your Multi card online

    Step 1

      • Register your Multi card
        • Have your card handy because you will need the number.

      Step 3 

      • Click on Load my card.
      • Have your card handy.
      • For a personalized Multi card (with photo), you can load:
        • a monthly pass; or
        • an amount of money  to your E-Wallet.
      • For a non-personalized Multi card (without photo), you can load:
        • an amount of money  to your E-Wallet ;
        • Please note that the 1-Day, 3-Day and 7-Day passes cannot be reload online and that they must be expired before they can be reload again at a Point of sale or Point of service.
      • It takes 48 hours for the transaction to be recorded on your Multi card.
      • In order to be activated, your Multi card must first be validated on an STO bus.

      Things to know

      • Personalized Multi card (with photo): you must create your profile at sto.ca, click on the link sent to your e-mail address and enter your Multi card #. You will then be able to reload your Multi card, but it will take a maximum of 48 hours for the fare to be transferred to your card when you validate it on an STO bus. Monthly passes and the PME can be reloaded online.
      • Electronic PME card: to reload this card on the Web, it must be registered in an STO customer file. Contact us at 819 770-3242 to create a file or to add this card number to your existing customer file. You can then create your profile and reload your Multi card, but it will take up to 48 hours for the fare to be transferred to your card.
      •  Passes One-day, Three-day and Seven-day: they are not currently reloadable online. Visit a point of service or point of sale. Your pass must be expired before it can be reloaded.

      Loading your Multi card at a point of sale


      There are close to 50 points of sale throughout Gatineau, where you can:

        Buy:

        • a non-personalized (no photo) Multi card;
        • a one-day, three-day or seven-day pass; or
        • bus tickets.

        Load:

        • a personalized Multi card (with photo) with:
          • a monthly pass; or
          • an amount of money  to your e-wallet.
        • a non-personalized Multi card (no photo) with:
          • an amount of money  to your e-wallet; or
          • a one-day, three-day or seven-day pass.

        Load your Multi card at a service point


        There are four (4) STO service points, where you can:

        Buy:

        • a personalized (with photo) Multi card;
        • a non-personalized (no photo) Multi card;
        • a one-day, three-day or seven-day pass; or
        • bus tickets.

        Load:

        • a personalized Multi card (with photo) with:
          • an annual pass (FIDÉLITÉ);
          • a monthly pass;
          • a semester pass; or
          • an amount of money  to your e-wallet.
        • a non-personalized Multi card (no photo) with:
          • an amount of money  to your e-wallet; or
          • a one-day, three-day or seven-day pass.
