Buckingham and Masson-Angers sectors

Route 97 will take autoroute 50 to improve access to the Rapibus Lorrain station. The adjusted circuits for routes 93 and 94 will improve service for Angers. The extension of routes 68 and 800 to the Lorrain station will improve service the main campus of the Université du Québec en Outaouais and to the Gabrielle-Roy campus of the Cégep de l'Outaouais. In addition, the STO on demand service for local trips will be renewed for a third consecutive year and the service area will include the sector located along Route 148, east of boulevard de l'Aéroport.

 

Routes 93 and 94

  • Major change: these circuits will be modified in Angers, between the Georges/Route 148 park-and-ride and autoroute 50, and will run along chemin de Montréal, rue des Laurentides, rue du Progrès, rue de la Forteresse, rue de Neuville and rue des Laurentides to autoroute 50 in the mornings, and will reverse course in the afternoons;
  • During morning peak periods, the link will be provided to the de la Cité station for route 93 and via autoroute 50 for route 94 to downtown Ottawa;
  • During afternoon peak periods, the link will be provided from downtown Ottawa via the de la Gappe station for route 93;
  • The adjustments to the route 93 and 94 circuits will improve access during period periods for most Angers residents;
  • In order to optimize the service with the current resources, one route 94 bus will be removed during the morning peak period, and a route 93 bus will be removed during the afternoon peak period;
  • The frequency will be adjusted to 20 to 30 minutes during peak periods;
  • On-demand service is available for local trips in the Buckingham and Masson-Angers sectors.

Route 97

  • Major change: the circuit will be modified in Angers and the Gatineau sector to offer a more direct link between the Georges/Route 148 park-and-ride and the Rapibus corridor via chemin de Montréal, rue des Laurentides, autoroute 50 and boulevard Lorrain, ending at the Lorrain station in the mornings, reversing course in the afternoons;
  • The current circuit to the east of the Georges/Route 148 park-and-ride will not be changed;
  • The three route 97 buses that start at the de la Cité station during the afternoon peak periods will be maintained;
  • Weekdays, buses will run every 30 to 60 minutes during peak periods and every 60 minutes at other times and weekends;
  • Between boulevard de l'Aéroport and boulevard Labrosse, service will be provided by the adjusted circuits of routes 73, 74, 75, 77 and 78;
  • On-demand service is available for local trips in the Buckingham and Masson-Angers sectors.

  • Routes 93 and 95 no longer run on Montée Paiement and now join the Rapius corridor via Boulevard.

Rapibus routes

  • Routes 100 and 200 will not be back this fall because the modifications would have a major impact on driver resources. Route 400 will continue with the same frequency as currently, that is to say every 7 to 8 minutes, between the Labrosse station and the downtowns, with the addition of :
    • overload buses in the morning, and
    • short trips from downtown Hull during afternoon peak periods.
  • A number of route 400 buses will continue to the Lorrain station to provide frequency averaging every 15 minutes mornings. All buses will continue to the Lorrain station during afternoon peak periods and outside morning peak periods and weekends.
